English Spaniel named Archie is probably the only hunting dog in the whole world, who is actually hunting... domestic mice. Despite the fact that his victims are very small, dog is taking his job seriously.

Even during the economical crisis Archie was not sitting without work. Moreover, he provided a job to his owner as well. 33-years-old Alan Jones and his dog Archie live near the town of Doncaster, but they are rarely can be found at home. They go to the places where they are referred by the heads of companies leading the fight against domestic rodents.

Archie is able not only to catch mice, but also to track their way of penetration in office buildings, warehouses and other places. He is sniffing the way of rodents and after that all what humans have to do - is to block the paths of their migrations.

His extraordinary abilities Archie had developed by very long studies and training. The course of anti-mouse training was lasting more than a year.

Police dog died on the mission just one day before retirement

Police dog nicknamed Baz died during the execution of his official duties in the city of Gateshead. The dog died after he felt from the roof of the house, where the criminals were hiding. Heroic dog died exactly one day before he was supposed to retire.

"Baz was an excellent partner. So many times he have been through the extremely dangerous situations, and died doing quite a simple job that he was always doing almost every day", - noted the trainer of a heroic dog.

Baz was born in May 2004 and in 2005 he started his work in the police department. At a time when the dog has worked in the police he lived at home with his trainer. During this time, Baz became a full member of the family, so his death was a great disaster for them all.
