Dog for your child

"Oh, Mom, I want a dog... Please... Maybe small dog... Please... I'll be a good boy... Please... " And you almost physically feel like collapsing the familiar and calm way of your life and with it all floor vases, fig trees in tubs also running down. You feel like carpets are exploding  and furniture is cracking... But does this proper life worth the joy and happiness of your child? And then, after forty years you will complain that your adult daughter rarely comes to see you when you're in it so desperately needs. In this life all things are too interconnected ...


No, of course, you do not do. And since I got into this situation, try to extract from it the maximum benefit. Of course, the first time, you will feel it is impossible: the puddles on his favorite rug, a broken pitcher, eaten barefoot ... But it behaves any normal puppy, regardless of whether he has a pedigree or no. But with proper education this wool ball with beady eyes bring your family for the benefit of hundreds of times the initial inconvenience.

Hard to believe? And yet it is so. Psychologists have long found that children who grow together with the animals, developed a serious sense of responsibility for passing and for their actions - is the most valuable human quality is hardly possible to cultivate in ourselves, spending time with soft toys. In addition, children are very willing to trust the four-legged friends their problems, worries, fears and secrets. The vast majority of children, according to psychologists, believed that the dog is always ready to listen, to comfort and support in difficult times. But is it always the parents have enough time for it, and just care to see that the child has trouble?

German psychologists on the basis of analysis of the experiments and studies have concluded that the domestic dog is actively involved in the upbringing of the child. Imagine that the example of dogs, children learn very important human qualities: loyalty, honesty, secrecy, an inability to meanness, tolerance to the shortcomings of others, the ability to forgive insults and unconditional love (no matter how strange - all this is inherent to the dog)!

So, before refusing your little son (or daughter) to buy a dog (maybe also a cat), think of what you lost it - just live and inconvenient to you toys, or a teacher who will help her become a better and more humane. Just think about it!

 

 

 

It is may be another situation. Some people can say "Dog is not for us, because my daughter (son) is afraid of dog". But I can retort, if you will have a dog, your child will get rid from that fear. He (she) will be confident and proud of his dog. Once I was occasional listener of kids talking. They was talking about dogs. They all loved dogs. And one boy say that he has labrador retriever while others have small dogs or no one. When he said that others boys  asked him to withdraw and show dog. They wanted to be friends with this boy and he became the focus of children talking. He was very proud that he has such a dog. Usually boys like large and imposing dogs, while girls prefer small, fluffy and pretty dogs.

When you are choosing a dog, you should also remember the child's age. Even if your child is a teenager, remember that the weight of the dog must not exceed the weight of the child, otherwise he would not be able to keep her at a critical moment. Also find out about the laws of your community that relate to walking and keeping dogs. If your child is very small and you want a dog more than the average size, I recommend to wait some years. Dogs even very sociable and affectionate can be clumsy and accidentally hurt the child.  Choosing a small breed dog is also not a simple way. Very often, these small dogs do not like when children behave rudely with them. I mean such breed as chihuahua, pekingese, pomeranian, miniature pinscher. They do not usually tolerate and can snarl, bite. Large dogs are more patient in this regard. These dogs are fragile and can easily be injured.

Also, I know moms who say that they need to walk with her small baby and it is so easy to take the dog for walking with them. In fact, it will be very difficult. Since the watch should be for the twos simultaneously. Puppy - is the same child. So imagine that you will have two children before deciding on the dog.

There are many dog breeds. Any dog has its own character and skills. Do your child like to ride bicycle? If yes - choose a dog liked bicycle. For example dalmatians can run next to bicycle by hours. If you have boy above 7 years, choose a dog liked to play with plate or ball. For example it will be border collie or whippet. They love catching the balls and plate most of all! If you have small daughter, you can choose small poodle or yorkshire terrier. Small girls like to brush them and tie bows on them. There are many wonderful dresses and wears for small dogs! Choose Chihuahua or Chinese Crested dog and your daughter will like to dress them up. Labradors and golden retrievers are great dog breeds for families with children. Breeds that have been withdrawn to protect such as the Rottweiler and Doberman pinscher, usually not recommended. The many friends who come to the children, may be perceived by them as an attack by malicious users to protected their territory. Herding breeds (collie) tend to perceive children as a "herd". Therefore, the custody part of such dogs would be appropriate. Step right, step left, etc. But maybe it's not so bad :)

Dogs are amazing! I wish to everyone to have a dog! But you must remember that it is liability step. You must to know more about content of dog and breed you choosing.
