The detector of pain in animals

In Ohio, the Unidog-painted States of America, a nurse from the veterinary clinics was often helping during the operations for animals.

Watching their torment, she decided to invent a device that will measure pain in animals, because the animals can not say that something hurts them. The device appeared. It is in the size of a palm of a hand and it works on the same principle as the polygraph.

The reaction, which is caused by pain, is captured by the sensors, and, turning into an electrical signal, is interpreted on the display. Animal instinct is demanding to hide the pain, but this new device by measuring and analyzing the electrical conductivity of the skin, determines the degree of stress in animals.

The degrees of pain are calibrated in the range from one to ten. The device was tested, and the specialists were quite satisfied with the results. During the operation of glaucoma in cat the instrument has shown the level of pain 10, and after surgery pain level was only two points. The unit focuses on the needs of veterinarians. With the release of the device there was determined it's approximate cost. It will be about 600 dollars for one unit.
