In Glasgow there was developed a new method of diagnosing diseases in animals by their breathing

Scientists at the Institute of Comparanimal-diasesative Medicine at Glasgow University have developed a new method for diagnosing diseases in animals by their breathing.

For several centuries doctors, who were watching people, were studying the odors of human breath and came to the conclusion that it is possible to determine this way the health status of a human. Nowadays there is a method of application of this technology to our four-legged friends.

In order to make a diagnosis, for example, for a dog, there would be a special mask putted on her muzzle, this mask will help to take a sample of her breath. By this method it will be possible to identify a wide range of diseases, from the stomach disorders up to the heart issues.

Those scientists, who developed this method of diagnosing animal health, believe that the diagnosis of breath is now bringing an excellent results, and they predict that it has a great future.
