On the Saturn's satellite there was found... a black cat

From the spacecraft, called Cassini, that is helping to explore the Saturn's satellite Titan, there was a series of images, obtained from the radar, that photographed the surface of this planet. Those images were transferred to the Earth. Some of those shots made the scientists to wonder.

Many places on these fotographs are covered with the bright sinuous lines, whose form is reminiscent of the gorge, cracks and crevices of the cork. The scientists still find it difficult to explain this natural phenomenon. But the interesting thing is that one of the shots captured the dark part, the transverse dimension of this part is about a hundred kilometers. The form of this object looks very much like a cat.

This landscaped area of Titan received a name "Si-Si the Cat", on behalf of the daughter of one researcher's team member. This exactly girl was the one, who actually noticed that the strange spot by it's form is very similar to the shape of a cat. Experts agree that this "black cat" can be some amount of water, the so-called "cosmic lake". Somewhere in January of the next year Cassini will have to come closer to the Saturn's satellite - this will give scientists an opportunity to organize the landing of a probe on the surface of the planet, and then the mystery of a "Black Cat" will probably be revealed.

Nobody knows of course, what exactly the scientists from Earth will find on the Titan, but already now all cat lovers of our beloved green planet are very much flattered to discover a cat in the unstudied space.
