The owners of one British bar for a long time could not understand, where was their favorite cat. The answer to the question, that was bothering them, they got only a week later, at a time when they opened the pool table and began to remove the chips from there.

One English proverb says that a cat was killed by curiosity. Well, the cat named Crunchy did not die, but had a lot of unpleasant moments. Her own curiosity has led her to a seven-days abstinence from drinking and eating, as well as has caused her a quite severe stress.

All week long the poor cat spent inside the billiard table, where unsuspecting players were hammering the balls. Apparently, Crunchy climbed inside the table at a time when the owner of the institution - P. Hornsby - was getting the balls out. Turning away for a moment, he did not see that the cat snuck into the table.

After a couple of hours after she was released, Crunchy was fed and given her share of affection, so finally she felt quite happy. However, now Crunchy is not even coming close to the billiard table anymore.
