The court fined the British woman, who locked the neighbor's cat in a garbage tank

45-year-old British wknoxopcuoffltwmooman Mary Bale was sentenced to a fine of 265 pounds. This sum she had to pay for her cruelty to animals. The incident occurred in late summer.

Mary Bale, at first snuggled up someone else's cat, and then she put the animal under the cover of a dumpster, so that the poor animal could not escape to freedom. 4-year-old cat named Lola had to spend in the garbage tank almost 15 hours, but she was finally saved by her owners.

Everything what happened was recorded by the surveillance camera, placed in the house next door, and soon the video was posted on the Internet. Local media called  Miss Bale "the most evil" woman in Great Britain.

Later it became known, that Miss Bale is a modest bank employee. She loves animals and did not want to cause any suffering to the cat. She just "decided to make a joke". 

For that kind of confession the press became quite angry with the woman and eventually she was brought before the court. Defender of Miss Bale says that she went through a lot of stress caused by the death of her father. She regretted the incident and apologized for the unfortunate owners of Lola.
