Breed: Siamese cat, a breed of Oriental Shorthair cats. State of Thailand in the old days was called Siam yet. The breed of cats, which arose in this country over 600 years ago, was called Siamese. It is assumed that the ancestor of a local Bengal. There have been many varieties of Siamese cats, varying in color.
They were valued highly expensive and lived exclusively in the palaces of rulers. In the second half of the XIX century the ruler of Siam sent to Europe as a gift for VIPs dozens of Siamese cats. In 1884, the British consul from Bangkok to London brought this animal. In 1901 was organized by the British Club of Siamese cats, and in 1902 it approved standards. Then, this breed was exported to America and other countries. 
As a result of meetings with other breeds and the local cats, it has lost its pure breed. At her home in Thailand, there was the same.It is why  the Association of Wildlife in Thailand resumed work on increasing the size of a Siamese cat and the restoration of purity of the breed. General Features: Cat miniature, lightweight and elegant. The head is of medium size, proportional in relation to the body has a wedge shape, similar to the head marten. The nose is long, straight, continues the line of the forehead without a break. The chin and jaw of moderate magnitude.
The ears are long, large, wide at the base and tapered at the ends. Eyes almond shaped, slightly slanted, shallow-set, bright blue or blue. Neck long, slender. Trunk muscular, flexible, somewhat elongated, well-proportioned. The shoulders are about the same width from the hips. The back and loins are strong. 
The legs are long, thin, slender, strong. Back slightly longer than the front. The feet are small, oval. The tail is long, jewelry, pointed at the end. Wool rather short, thick, shiny and tight. All Siamese cats have special color, that is a different color of the main wool and hair on the muzzle, ears, legs and tail.

Temperament: Active, playful, sociable, tied to the owners in need of constant communication, capricious, persistent, they have a unique voice with a lot of intonation; like to "talk"; poorly perceive other cats and other pets.
