Shania's favorite bodyguard
Famous Canadian singer Shania Twain is one of the most successful and well-known country- and pop-performers for the present day. She has loads of fans around the world, but especially she is loved, of course, on the American continent.
Shania was born in August 28, 1965 in a small town in Canada. Her career began in a rather mature age, when she married a reputable producer Robert Lange (Robert was working mostly with his friend - Bryan Adams and helped him to become a worldwide mega-star). It was her husband who advised Shania to choose "country-rock" as a creative direction and not to stock on just country music. This decision brought Shania Twain a widespread popularity, first in Canada, and later in America (the country-rock is a simpler and more universal "version" of the traditional country, which should be considered as a national music and has a narrow circle of admirers). Soon Shania's songs became a real discovery to the public. Her records were sold out with incredible speed, and singles over and over again occupied the top lines in the musical charts of USA.
Since she became that popular and with the popularity got a bunch of paparazzi, Shania started to think seriously about her own safety. And she found herself a bodyguard. That's how Tim - the German shepherd - appeared in her life. Shania loved Tim so much that she could not separate from him for another minute.
For some time the American tabloids even had it as a topic for jokes - the bus which was normally taking Shania to the tours allover America, was equipped with a special "dog door" (the one Americans usually install in the kitchen doors for their dogs to go out easily if they want so). Unfortunately, in 2004, Tim passed away. Until now Shania did not bring any other dog home - too dear to her was her four-legged bodyguard.
