Purina brand canine nutrition rations are produced by Nestle Purina PetCare. Purina PetCare is a subdivision of Nestle – a giant international company. Initially, this brand was produced by Ralston Purina company, but in 2001, it was purchased and merged with Nestle Friskies PetCare Company. Nestle Purina PetCare headquarters are located in St. Louis, Missouri. PURINA CANINE NUTRITION REVIEWPurina includes a range of canine nutrition rations, and most of them contain high percentage of corn. In most of the formulas, we can find not only corn, but also wheat, soy, animal by-products, lots of salt and flavors, and sometimes even sugar. All of these are not recommended components for dogs nutrition. PURINA CONSUMER TESTIMONIALSCustomers are mostly negative about Purina brand nutrition formulas. Purina seems to be recognized as a “low price – low quality” pet nutrition brand, with little attention to dogs health. The main principle of creating its formulas is inexpensive price of components, not quality. Cheap price seems to be its only motivating reason for dog owners; only people with little budgets actually buy Purina pet nutrition. Allergic dogs may experience health problems on Purina pet nutrition diet. |
